Yanhua Mini ACDP read BMW MSV90 ISN without open DME shell

Is it possible to read BMW MSV90 ISN by Mini ACDP without opening the shell of DME? If can, how to?

Yes. ACDP Module 27 is required. It comes with interface boards and A51E license, and works well with Mini ACDP to quickly perform BMW E/ F chassis MSV80, MSD80, MSD81, MSD85, MSD87, and MSV90 DME (Continental/Siemens) ISN reading/writing and cloning via bench mode.

Step 1: Prepare all accessories below

• MSV90 interface board (ACDP Module 27)
• 20PIN cable
• ACDP host
• OBD+ICP adapter

Step 2: Plug the MSV90 interface board correctly into MSV90 DME

Step 3: Short the CAN resistor on the OBP+ICP adapter to the 'CAN-R Join'

Step 4: Connect ACDP, OBP+ ICP adapter, interface board and DME

Operation path on Mini ACDP APP:

Tap BMW>> DME ISN>> BENCH MODE Read/Write DME ISN>> SIEMENS/Continental DME>> Fxx>> select the option based on the engine model (i.e. N52 MSV90)>> Read ISN

Make sure the connection between ACDP and DME is good

Read the system information and save the screenshot

Read the IMMO info successfully and take a screenshot, then click Export

Remember the file storage path

Click Save on the bottom right corner

ISN data is exported successfully.

 This is a tutorial on using Yanhua Mini ACDP + Module 9 to duplicate 2011–2019 Land Rover/ Jaguar key via OBD step by step. Read this post carefully to learn how to do.

Preparation

Mini ACDP Master

JLR KVM Module 9

Double CAN Adapter

Working key

Blank new key

Connect ACDP host, BAV-KEY adapter, double CAN adapter & vehicle OBD port.

Procedure

Mini ACDP >> Jaguar/Land Rover >> OBD duplicate key/all key lost(2011–2019) >> Program key(ADD key) >> Continue

Check the vehicle version info, press "Continue".

It's recommended to take a screenshot to save the info.

Connect the BAV-key adapter to the ACDP.

And put the unlocked working key correctly on the BAV-key adapter!

Press "Continue".

Check the key info, press "Continue".

The working key ID is AEBD5235. This key is still in my hand.

Select the lost key channel: Key1

Connect the BAV-key adapter to the ACDP.

And put the special key that can change ID correctly on the BAV-key adapter!

Check key info, press "Continue".

Yanhua Mini ACDP add BMW CAS4/ CAS4+ key in OBD/ ICP mode

 This is a guide to add BMW CAS4/ CAS4+ key with Yanhua Mini ACDP in OBD/ICP mode. Read it carefully to learn how easy it can do.

BMW CAS4/4+ Add Key via OBD

Connect ACDP programmer with vehicle OBD port.

Mini ACDP>> BMW >> CAS1–4 >> CAS4/CAS4+ >> OBD mode >> IMMO/Mileage >> Add key(Automatic mode) >> Continue

Please check the system info, like VIN, mileage, system status and other vehicle info.

Press "Continue".

Detect to the ECU does not pre-process, please preprogram first.

Press "Continue".

Please save the original coding data.

Pre-process ECU system finished.

Please backup CAS data file.

Please put the working key close to the emergency start sensing antenna position(located at the steering wheel right hand).

Check IMMO info like ISN, VIN, press "OK".

Choose any unoccupied key channel displayed as FF.

Put the new blank key close to the emergency start sensing antenna.

Generate new key finished.

BMW CAS4/4+ Add key on Bench

Remove CAS4 module from vehicle. It's under the steering wheel.

- Installation

Install the copper pillar.

Align D1-D4 test points. Vertical press down the CAS4 interface board. As long as the 4 test points are aligned, then all test points are aligned.

Lock the board with copper pillar & PCB lock, connect all together.

Power up the ACDP.

- APP Operation

Mini ACDP >> BMW >> CAS1–4 >> CAS4/CAS4+ >> ICP model >> ICP 9S12XEP100(Mask 5M48H/1N35H)

(It's always good to click Help. You can find out where the mask ID is.)

IMMO >> Read CAS4 EEPROM >> OK

Pin detection passed. If the detection fails, please check and clean the test points.

Press "OK".

Check the VIN number and CAS4 version. Press "OK".

Save original DFLASH data.

Reading data successfully!

Mode1: add key(with work key)

Please connect the BAV adapter and put in the blank key.

Select the original DFLASH data.

Choose the unoccupied key channel displayed as FF.

Take out the blank key from the coil and put in the working key instead.

Vehicle info was read out.

Take out the working key and put in new key. Press "OK".

Programming key successful!

You can put the CAS4 module back to the vehicle. And insert the new key into the key slot for learning. Start the car with new key.

Remember to save the CAS data. This data contains info of old key & new key.

Yanhua Module 28 Gearbox Clone: JLR ZF-9HP

Remove the 3 screws of the interface board, install the copper pillars. Put the CPU positioning frame on the CPU.

Install ZF-9HP BOOT interface board. Lock it with copper pillars. Install ZF-9HP port interface board. Connect 2 interface boards with 8PIN cable.

Connect OBP+ICP adapter with 20PIN cable.

Short the CAN resistor on the OBP+ICP adapter to the "CAN-R-JOIN" side. Connect to ACDP host.

Operation

Mini ACDP>> Jaguar/Land Rover >> Gearbox clone >> ZF_9HP(BOOT) >> Identify >> Continue

Confirm system info.

BOOT pin status detection passed.

Connect another ZF-9HP gearbox computer.

Can Yanhua module 9 support copy keys for after 2019 JLR?

 Can Yanhua module 9 copy all 2011–2019 JLR keys by obd?

Generally supported, but there is one thing to note: The 2019 JRL series keys have undergone a style change, and the original keys are similar to the picture below.

And the new style key is like this:

As long as it is a JLR key whose style has not changed (old JLR key), it can be copied by using Yanhua module 9 + Double CAN Adapter.

Yanhua products also support JLR keys after the style change, but not module 9, but module 24.

Record the Boot version and Bosch part number

These two numbers of the new gearbox need to be the same as the original one

Make a screenshot to save the system information as well

Continue to read chip data

Save the data read out

Second step, go to write data with a new gearbox

Connect a new VGA NAG3 9G Tronic gearbox with ACDP interface board

Tap Full Write Data

Check if the two numbers of the new gearbox need to be the same as the original one

Make a screenshot to save the system information

Select chip data file

Choose the chip data file that saved in the previous step

Write data finished.

Finally, install the new gearbox cloned by Mini ACDP with module 19 back to the vehicle and test.

Digimaster3 Corrected 2005 Nissan Altima odometer

 I have received yanhua digimaster 3 and used it to correct odometer on my 2005 nissan altima. But it failed and prompted 'Wire reversal' and 'Abnormal power'. How to fix the problem?

The chip clip is not clamped properly, so the pin detection fails.

Please adjust chip clip and press test again.

Use power cables to connect Digimaster 3 and solderless adapter

Then use chip clip or Yanhua Puncture Socket connect the chip and Yanhua solderless adapter

The red line needs to match Pin 1 of the chip

Select the corresponding chip model through 'CHOOSE' on the adapter

When pass the pin detection, connect the adapter and digimaster 3.

Then choose meter system, car brand, car model to change the mileage.
